Refund Policy
Every account starts with free credits so you can judge the output before you pay, because credit purchases are final once made. If something goes wrong on our side, we put it right. Here is exactly how it works, in plain terms.
The short version
- Credits you have used can't be refunded. Generating content costs us real money the moment it runs.
- All credit purchases are final, including credits you haven't used yet.
- If something was our fault, we fix it: a re-run, credits back, or a refund.
- Cancel a subscription any time. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
- Email us before disputing a charge with your bank; we resolve almost everything faster ourselves.
Try before you buy
Every new account gets free credits once you verify your email. That is deliberate: we want you to generate real articles and judge the quality for yourself before spending anything. If AffSERP isn't the right fit, you will know before your card is involved.
Credits
Credits are words of generated content. When a generation runs, we pay AI and data providers for it immediately, whether or not you end up using the result. That is why refunds work the way they do:
- Used credits are non-refundable. The cost has already been incurred on your behalf.
- Unused credits are also non-refundable. Top-up credits don't expire while your account is open, so there is no pressure to spend them, but they cannot be converted back to money. Please use your free credits to evaluate the service before buying more.
- Free credits have no cash value and are never refunded or paid out.
Subscriptions
- Cancel any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end your current period early. You keep access, and your remaining credits, until the period you paid for ends.
- Renewals are not refundable once the period has started, except as described under "When we will refund". We send a reminder before annual plans renew, so a forgotten renewal shouldn't happen without warning.
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Upgrades take effect immediately and you pay the difference for the remainder of the period.
When we will refund
Regardless of the rules above, we will refund or re-credit you, without argument, if:
- A generation failed and you were charged anyway. (This shouldn't happen, failed runs aren't charged, but if you see it, tell us.)
- You were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount.
- A purchase was made on your account without your authorisation. Let us know as soon as you notice.
- The service was down or broken in a way that stopped you using what you paid for, for a meaningful period.
- You are entitled to a refund under the consumer protection law where you live. Those rights always take priority over this policy.
What isn't covered
To be upfront about the other side:
- Not liking the style or quality of content you generated, after the free credits gave you the chance to evaluate it. The output is AI-written and will need editing; that is part of the product, not a defect.
- Content that a third party (Google, Amazon, a platform) treats differently than you hoped. We don't control rankings, approvals or commissions.
- Credits spent on runs you set up incorrectly, such as the wrong keywords or the wrong site. Check your settings before a large batch.
- Accounts closed for breaching our Terms of Service. Remaining credits are forfeited.
How to request a refund
- Email support@affserp.com from your account email.
- Include the date and amount of the purchase, and a sentence on why you're asking. You don't need to write an essay.
- We reply within 24 hours. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment provider, and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
A note on chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, the dispute process takes weeks and freezes the account while it runs. Emailing us first is faster for you and lets us fix genuine problems immediately. We ask that you give us that chance. Accounts that open a chargeback for a charge we would have refunded on request may be suspended while it is resolved.
Questions
Anything unclear, or a situation this page doesn't cover? Email support@affserp.com and a person will look at it. We try to be fair, and if you have a reasonable case we would rather refund you than lose your trust.
